There really wasn't much more to do to the Space Base set other than add the new walking Billy Blastoff, slap a sticker on the box and take orders but unfortunately someone saw fit to strip the Grabber of its guts. The buttonless 1970 Grabber no longer could move in reverse, pause or cycle the claw up, down, open, close. Hopefully the kids in 1970 didn't know what they were missing with the new version.
